NYC Local Law 101 of 2021
LL101 (2021) adds new language to LL97 (2019) concerning emissions reductions by the New York City Housing Authority. NYC Local Law 117 of 2020 LL117 (2020) adds new language to LL97 (2019) concerning building owner and the Office of Building Energy and Emissions Performance (OBEEP) reporting. NYC Local law 147 of 2019 LL147 (2019) includes numerous tweaks to LL97 including including changes to defined terms, changes to emissions calculations for purchased electricity, changes to the treatment of fuel cell emissions, changes to the emissions limits of certain types of usage classification, etc. NYC Local Law 97 of 2019 - Climate Mobilization Act LL97 (2019) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to the commitment to achieve certain reductions in greenhouse gas emissions from buildings by 2050. As of April 2019, this is the current City building emissions regulation. New rule for the implementation of LL97 effective January 19, 2023. NYC Local Law 33 of 2018 LL33 (2018) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to the posting of energy efficiency scores and grades for certain buildings. NYC Local Law 134 of 2016 LL134 (2016) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to upgrading lighting systems in certain buildings. NYC Local Law 133 of 2016 LL133 (2016) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to expanding the list of buildings required to be benchmarked for energy and water efficiency. This local law changed the building benchmarking requirement from buildings over 50,000 sf down to buildings over 25,000 sf, nearly doubling the number of buildings required to be benchmarked. NYC Local Law 66 of 2014 LL66 (2014) amends the New York City administrative code calling for a minimum, a thirty percent reduction in citywide emissions by calendar year 2030 and an eighty percent reduction in citywide emissions by calendar year 2050, relative to such emissions for the base year for citywide emissions. NYC Local Law 141 of 2013 LL141 (2013) amends the administrative code of the city of New York, the New York city plumbing code, the New York city building code, the New York city mechanical code and the New York city fuel gas code in relation to bringing such codes up to date with the 2009 editions of the international building, mechanical, fuel gas and plumbing codes, with differences that reflect the unique character of the city and clarifying and updating administration and enforcement of such codes… NYC Local Law 28 of 2012 LL28 (2012) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to sun control devices. NYC Local Law 20 of 2011 LL20 (2011) amends the New York City administrative code and the New York city building code, in relation to allowing large solar rooftop installations. NYC Local Law 52 of 2010 LL52 (2010) amends the New York City administrative code to it for the improvement lighting efficiency in apartment buildings. NYC Local Law 49 of 2010 LL49 (2010) amends the New York City administrative code to include environmental concerns as a guiding principle and purpose of the New York City construction codes. NYC Local Law 48 of 2010 LL48 (2010) amends the New York City administrative code to increase the energy efficiency of commercial buildings through the use of occupant sensors and photosensors. NYC Local Law 47 of 2010 LL47 (2010) amends the New York City administrative code to reduce unnecessary artificial lighting in building lobbies and hallways. NYC Local Law 43 of 2010 LL43 (2010) amends the New York City administrative code to permit the use of biofuels for heating. NYC Local Law 88 of 2009 LL88 (2009) amends the New York City administrative code in relation in relation to upgrading lighting systems and the installation of sub-meters in certain buildings. NYC Local Law 87 of 2009 LL87 (2009) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to requiring energy audits and retro-commissioning of base building systems of certain buildings and retro-fitting of certain city-owned buildings. NYC Local Law 85 of 2009 LL85 (2009) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to establishing a New York city energy code. NYC Local Law 84 of 2009 LL84 (2009) amends the New York City administrative code in relation to benchmarking the energy and water efficiency of buildings. |
